New CEEAMS.org website

We are very glad to announce that the new CEEAMS website is published! We worked on it during 2016 and now we’ve launched it in the first days of January 2017. The website is in English, please check it out!

Ceeams Conference Osijek 2017

Upcoming Annual Conference

Our annual CEEAMS Conference will be organized 13-17 February, 2017 in Osijek, Croatia. The conference’s topic is: Love, Live, and Delight: Conversations in Central and Eastern Europe on Present Day Documents and Commitments on Mission. Membership of CEEAMS is open both to individual scholars, institutions involved in the study of mission and intercultural theology, as well as reflective practitioners, based on a commitment to the aims of the Association. You can find details and an application form.

2016 ACTA issue

We are about to publish the delayed 2016 issue of our ACTA Missiologiae journal. CEEAMS members receive ACTA as part of their membership. Full length articles, reports, book reviews, research project reports, conference information could be shared in the upcoming issue. Daboh Study Group

Academic Mission Resource Development

CEEAMS will start a research project to make relevant academic mission resources across Christian traditions and countries in Central and Eastern Europe available online. The project will include digital, contextually relevant dissertations, Master Thesis and journal articles in major theological journals in different languages. The project coordinator is Danut Manastireanu, our DABOH study group convener.

Book announcement

Several CEEAMS members are involved as editor or author in the latest book in the Regnum Edinburgh Centenary series: Mission in Central and Eastern Europe: Realities, Perspectives, Trends, edited by Corneliu Constantineanu, Mihai Himcinschi, Anne-Marie Kool and Marcel Macelaru. It will be published shortly.
