The Biblical Studies and Mission (BISAM) group connects to the respective study group of IAMS. It envisions a network of scholars in Central and Eastern Europe who are interested both in missiology as well as biblical research. The group convenes during CEEAMS conferences and undertakes research projects between the annual assemblies with an emphasis on mission, missional hermeneutics and contextual interpretation.
One multi-year research and writing project resulted in the production of the Central and Eastern European Bible commentary.
